About Irena
Meet Irena Kim— Founder and Lead Planner of Silk and Ribbon Events.
Raised by two immigrant parents who were also small business owners, Irena grew up admiring their hard work ethic and tenacity.
Inspired by her parents, she knew that she too would become her own boss someday; and indeed, that day finally came in May 2023 with the birth of Silk and Ribbon Events!
A lover of both strategy and creativity, Irena always had an affinity for planning events.
In her free time, she enjoys wandering around art museums, shopping at thrift/vintage stores, and checking out new cafes.
